Events

All Week, January 9-13 – Weeks of Welcome Group Fitness Schedule

Monday, January 9 – Tea Time Tabling with Campus Rec – 11 AM – 2 PM

What’s the tea? Come get “tea” with Campus Rec in The Pit from 11-2pm. Actual tea is provided plus information about all our programs and events this semester!

Tuesday, January 10 – Tea Time Tabling with Campus Rec – 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

What’s the tea? Come get “tea” with Campus Rec in The Gift Plaza from 10:30am-1:30pm. Actual tea is provided plus information about all our programs and events this semester!

Tuesday, January 10 – Group Fitness Demos in The Pit – 12:30 PM – 1 PM

Campus Rec offers over 50 classes with 12 different formats, ranging from 7am to 8pm, and lunch time classes every day. Curious about what we offer? Come check out our QUICK group fitness demo in The Gift Plaza from 12:30-1pm on Tuesday, January 10. Hop in for 1, 2 or 10 minutes of any classes demoed!

Tuesday, January 10 – Welcome Back Cardio Dance Party – 7 PM – 8 PM (SRC B)

Join Dance instructors Sydney and Annie for this cardio dance mash up class that will have you energized and ready to kick off the semester! This mash up class will offer a wide variety of music and dance moves that will be sure to get your heart rate up, see you there! No registration required.

Wednesday, January 11 – FWOC Pool Party – 4 PM – 6 PM (Bowman Gray)

UNC Aquatics would like to invite members of our campus community to join us for a beginning of semester get together at Bowman Gray Memorial Pool! Bring your OneCard and a friend (with a OneCard) for a fun afternoon at the pool!

Wednesday, January 11 – Mind Body Mash Up – 7 PM – 8 PM (Rams Head)

Join Group Fitness instructors Sydney and Jarah for this Pilates and Barre mash up class! This will be an upbeat full body workout that concludes with mind and body relaxation techniques. This class is great for all fitness levels and is just what you need to relax and energize your day, see you there! No registration required.

Thursday, January 12 – Intramural Registration Opens
