Personal Training

UNC Campus Recreation is committed to helping you reach your fitness goals through individualized support and guidance.  Our certified Personal Trainers are here to provide you with a personalized fitness program, hands-on coaching, and the support and encouragement you need to be successful.   We are committed to continuous professional development to ensure that are trainers have the knowledge and skills to work with all fitness levels, ages, and goals.

Virtual Training:

Using the Trainerize Virtual Training Plaform, our personal trainers are able to design, share, and coach you through a 4-week program tailored to your specific goals and preferences. Each program is unique to the client, and may include strength, cardio, flexibility, and more. This Online Training Package can be purchased one month at a time, continuing for as long as you’d like. It is available to new and existing clients, as well as non-members.

Each monthly training passes will include access to our online training platform, a personalized 4-week training plan, and an initial consultation with your trainer. You can choose between two training options:

Option 1 = One training sessions/check-in with your trainer per week

Option 2 = Unlimited training sessions/check-ins with your trainer

To Register: 

  1. Before registering, please review the Personal Training Policies for important details
  2. New Clients are eligible to sign up for Personal Training starting the 1st week of each academic semester. We will stop accepting new clients 2 weeks prior to the end of each semester (Current clients are eligible to renew their package at anytime)
  3. You can register online or by visiting Campus Rec Main Office 
  4. Upon registering, you will be required to fill out the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). If you answer “Yes” to any questions on the PAR-Q, you must also complete a medical clearance form:
  5. After your registration form and payment have been received, please expect a minimum of 48 business hours for your registration to be processed and a trainer to contact you.
