Field Day HIIT (Outdoor Pop-up Group Fitness Class)

Grab your friends and your eye black and come join us on Hooker Fields for a HIIT workout inspired by your favorite field day activities! Enjoy a high intensity workout while also engaging in some friendly competition with other participants. No registration required!
Partner Pilates (LDOC themed Group Fitness Class)

Kickoff the last day of classes with Campus Rec! This group fitness class will take your Pilates workout to the next level with partner challenges to try with your friends! Registration required, sign up on Stay Active 48 hours in advance.

Spring Fling

Spring Fling is a 2.7mile fun run or 1.5 mile walk open to all UNC-Chapel Hill faculty and staff. In previous years, over 300 participants have completed the Spring Fling individually or as part of a departmental team. The event promotes physical activity, health and well-being and provides employees with the opportunity to contribute to the UNC Carolina Cupboard by making a canned food donation. In addition, pet donations will be given to the Orange County Animal Shelter. Free refreshments will be provided for participants after the event. This event is rain or shine!

Heel Fit Small Group Training: Summer Session 1

Heel Fit is an inclusive small group training program designed to give participants 1 on 1 attention while giving them a sense of community. Our program is designed to enhance fitness through strength, power, and aerobic training as well as improving joint mobility. Our goal is to provide participants of all fitness levels with an intention, progressively linear, and interactive training program! This summer, we’re offering Heel Fit free of charge! Registration required 48 hours before class.

5,103 square miles of North Carolina are covered by water. We challenge you to swim a personal goal of 100 miles and work together as a Carolina team to swim the entire distance of the bodies of water in NC!
Climbing Wall Membership & Classes
Housing two climbing walls, Campus Rec offers around 5,000 square feet of climbing as well as a bouldering wall and cave. With highly trained climbing staff, the walls are safe and easy to access, even for those who have never climbed before.

Go on your own adventure! Rent equipment from Carolina Adventures to go on your own expedition like paddleboarding, backpacking, and more.
