Squat Challenge- CIRSA Fundraiser

Think you have what it takes to out-squat all the others in the SRC? Now is your time to prove yourself! On Sunday, January 25, from 9:45 am- 12 pm, the Carolina Intramural and Recreational Sport Assosication (CIRSA) will be hosting a squat challenge in the SRC. All proceeds will go toward sending student leaders to the NIRSA Annual Conference in Dallas, TX. Click here to check out more details and to learn more!

When:  Sunday, January 25th

Time:  9:45 am- 12 pm

Where: Student Recreation Center

What: Each participant will get 2 attempts at a Max Effort Squat

Price: $15

Number of Participants:  20

Winners: Overall best lift male, overall best lift female, pound for pound best lift male, pound for pound best lift female

Get Fit From Head to Heel

Is exercise hard because you need variety? Want a start-up program that is reasonable and effective? Get Fit from Head to Heel is the answer!

This introductory fitness program is designed to familiarize participants to a variety of workout methods and encourage ways to establish a healthy, better and more consistent lifestyle. Participants will experience group and personal training sessions as well as wellness specific special events. Come ready to make friends and make a good change. You deserve it!

Registration opens: November 10 (Space is limited)

Kick Off Meeting: 7am Wednesday, January 14 OR 4:30pm Thursday, January 15

Program Dates: Week of January 20-April 10 (Mon/Wed 6:45-7:45am or Tues/Thurs 4:30-5:30pm)

Cost: $100 (must be a Campus Recreation member)
