Lifeguarding Courses

BLENDED LEARNING LIFEGUARDING COURSE

The American Red Cross Blended Learning Lifeguarding course utilizes online modules, classroom lectures, and in-water practice to teach candidates the skills needed to help prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. This includes land and water skills, as well as first aid and CPR.

SPRING 2022 COURSE INFORMATION
  • Course Schedule: Friday 5:15-9:00pm, Saturday 9:00am-7:00pm & Sunday 12:00-8:00pm
  • Dates: February 25-27, 2022, March 4-6, 2022, March 25-27, 2022, April 1-3, 2022, April 8-10, 2022, & April 22-24, 2022
  • Location: Bowman Gray Memorial Pool

LIFEGUARDING REVIEW COURSE

The purpose of a review course is to give individuals the opportunity to review the course content within a formal course setting. The review course format optimizes a participant’s ability to successfully complete the knowledge and skills evaluations.  To participate in a review course, individuals must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate or an American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certificate expired by no more than 30 days.
