Volleyball (M)

“Our organization seeks to provide the men of the University with the opportunity to compete in the sport of volleyball at a highly competitive level. Our membership is open to all who are interested in competing in volleyball and complete team try-outs (2 per year). Our club competes against other universities from up and down the east coast throughout the year, as well as a national tournament at the end of the year. This past year we placed 21st overall at NCVF Nationals in St. Louis.

Tournaments are held at other universities such as, but not limited to: NCSU, UNC-Charlotte, UNC-Wilmington, HPU, WFU, UVA, VT, VCU, William and Mary, Elon, USC, Clemson, GT, UT, George Mason, and more.”

How to Join: Tryouts; occur every September and in January/February of the spring semester

Dues: $160 per year

Competitive Season: Fall/Spring

National Governing Body: National Collegiate Volleyball Federation

Recent Accomplishments:

  • Placed into silver bracket at Nationals; Finished 21st in the nation
  • Won High Point Invitational tournament in the Spring
  • Club Goal achieved: increased attendance year-round and set ourselves up for success next year (building/retaining talent; developing skills; camaraderie)
