Facility Rentals

  • GENERAL INFO

    Campus Recreation facilities can be reserved by officially recognized student organizations, UNC departments, UNC Athletics Summer camps, and external groups. Our general policies and procedures are:

    1. All requests must be submitted at least 14 days before the desired event date.
    2. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
    3. Requests will be processed within 5 business days of submission.
    4. All requests should include the following details in the Comments section of the reservation form:
      • Name of Event
      • Event Description
      • Tables, chairs, or other items requested
      • Alternative spaces you could use for the event
      • The percentage of the total number of attendees that will be UNC students
    1. Daily rental rates will be applied for reservations that last 5 hours or longer.
    2. Rams Head Recreation Center and the Student Recreation Center are available to UNC Athletics summer camps and external groups when these facilities are closed to UNC students.

    The following fees will be applied for reservations at Bowman Gray or Kessing Pool:

    Campus Recreation reserves the right to apply the following fees to any reservation:

    Staffing

    • Event Staffing: $20/hour/employee
    • Housekeepers: $22/hour
    • Athletic Trainers: $25/hour

    Extended Facility Hours: $30/hour

    Equipment

    • Tables: $4/each
    • Chairs: $0.50/each

    Miscellaneous Fees

    • Clean-up Fee: $150
    • Set-up /Breakdown Fee: $20/hour/employee

    PAYMENT

    Full payment for facility reservations is due within thirty (30) days of your last reservation date. Overdue accounts will lose all scheduling privileges and accrue interest at 1% per day.

    Campus Recreation accepts the following payment methods:

    • Cash
    • Checks: made payable to UNC Campus Recreation
    • SAFO Account Transfer: to account 01-141.

    NOTE: Credit and debit payments are not accepted.
