UNC Men’s Crew is a highly competitive club rowing program consistently ranked in the top 5 teams of the American Collegiate Rowing Association. We represent the university at the highest level, performing well at national and international events. We have a professional coaching staff that boasts a 2008 Olympic Medalist, and a practice facility located close to campus. We welcome guys with any level of experience with the sport (no prior experience necessary!) who are either tall and strong or tough enough to make a difference. Additionally, we are proud to recruit females who are interested in coxing (great leadership experience).
How to Join: Tryouts; We hold tryouts and recruitment meetings at the beginning of the fall season for the first 3 weeks of school. Additionally, we will have spring recruiting if our retention rate isn’t high enough.
Dues: Varsity is $1,600 per year and Novice is $1,200 per year

- 1st Place – Men’s 4+ Head of the Charles (largest regatta in the world by attendance)
- 1st Place – Men’s Championship 8+ Head of the Hooch (largest regatta in the world by entries)
- Men’s Novice 4+ earned a Bronze, Men’s Second Varsity 8+ earned a Silver, and Men’s First Varsity 8+ earned 4th place in a very narrow finish (within 2 seconds of 1st) at the ACRA national championships in Gainesville, GA
