The Challenge Course program has offered opportunities for students to engage in leadership and group development activities prior to various APPLES experiences. Students enrolled in the APPLES Alternative Spring Break Trips and Global Service-Learning programs participate in the challenge course to develop group dynamics and to get to know one another. The cost is low, the experience is great and the learning continues beyond the challenge course and extends into their individual and group contribution to APPLES and beyond. We're thankful to Lizzie and her wonderful staff, as they have always been willing to work with us to develop experiences that meet our needs. Engaging and intentional programs like the challenge course enable APPLES students to prepare for their experiences and learn from one another in new ways. We look forward to working with the challenge course for years to come!
