Sport Clubs Council

About the Council

The UNC Sport Clubs Council (SCC) is an organization composed of over 50 different student -run, sport-related teams and clubs. The clubs range from being recreational and instructional to highly competitive, yet all are united by the common goal of creating an environment that fosters student development and leadership through sport.

The SCC was established to foster maximum participation by each member club.  By encouraging and aiding each club to fulfill its potential, the Council strives to provide a quality experience for all those who participate in sport club activities.  The Council was also formed to confront and solve problems of the various sport clubs in our campus community which might otherwise be difficult to facilitate through one or more clubs acting independently.
