Sport Clubs Executive Board and Sport Clubs Committee
The UNC Sport Clubs Executive Board is a committee of student leaders that represent the Sport Clubs program. Chosen by the Sport Clubs staff, these individuals are charged with providing student leadership and involvement to the program. Responsibilities include determining annual student fee budget allocations, assisting with Sport Clubs community service projects, promoting Sport Clubs initiatives and events, admitting new members to the Sport Clubs program, assisting in the discipline process for major policy violations, and providing advisement and feedback to the UNC Sport Clubs staff.
In addition to the Executive Board, each club is represented on the Sport Clubs Committee. This committee is made up by members of each individual student organization in the Sport Clubs program. The Committee was originally established to foster maximum participation by each member club. By encouraging and aiding each club to fulfill its potential, the Sport Clubs Committee strives to provide a quality experience for each individual participant. Committee members have the ability to influence program make up, policy revisions, and marketing and outreach initiatives. Committee members have the opportunity to serve on sub-committees that help provide more cohesiveness among sport club members to strengthen the Sport Club program as a whole. Sub-committees are Student-Athlete Leadership, Student-Athlete Development, Community Service Projects, Social Events, Officer Trainings & Transitions, and Marketing.
