Volleyball (W)

UNC Women’s Club Volleyball consists of 20-24 members organized into two highly competitive teams.  As members of the CWCVL (Carolina Women’s Collegiate Volleyball League) and NCVF (National Collegiate Volleyball Federation), both teams compete regionally and nationally. Generally, the club participates in 3-4 tournaments in both the Fall and Spring semesters, culminating the season at the National Championship tournament held during the first week in April. UNC Women’s Club Volleyball takes pride in being a competitive club, and this requires a serious commitment from every player.  The commitment includes attending all practices and tournaments, as well as participating in club events and fundraisers. Practices for each team are usually twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays for two hours each. Practices also include conditioning, which can take place either before or after practice.
