Work for Intramural Sports

Intramural Sports employees create a safe, healthy and inclusive environment for participants. Typical shifts are Sunday through Thursday, 5-8pm or 8-11pm, with occasional weekend work. For more information, download the Sport Programs Employee Manual.

Sport Programs Operations Assistant

Position Description
  • This position is only available to Federal Work-Study recipients.
  • Attend training clinics to learn policies, procedures, and operations for each sport.
  • Accurate record keeping, including equipment inventory and game statistics.
  • Enforce Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist other positions as needed.
How To Apply
  • Students that have received Federal Work-Study for 2016-2017 and are interested in applying for the Sport Program Operations Assistant position must apply online August 1, 2016 through August 26, 2016.

Sports Official

Position Description
  • Enforce Intramural Sports rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Remain impartial and fair to all teams.
  • Attend officials’ meetings and clinics to learn rules, mechanics, and positioning for each sport.
  • Assist other positions as needed.

Sport Programs Supervisor

Position Description
  • Enforce Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the sport or activity to ensure a safe environment for participants.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks, manage conflicts, provide staff feedback, provide excellent customer service, etc.
  • Assist other positions as needed.
How To Apply
  • Students interested in becoming a Sport Programs Supervisor must have two semesters of employment with Campus Recreation and must have completed the Supervisor-in-Training program. For more information, contact Tori Hooker.
