First Aid Course

Course Description

The purpose of the American Red Cross First Aid course is to train participants to recognize and respond appropriately to first aid emergencies. The course teaches skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. We also offer American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED courses!

Criteria for Certification

  • Attend all class sessions.
  • Participate in all course activities.
  • Demonstrate competency in all required skills.
  • Successfully participate in an end-of-course scenario(s).
