Don’t miss this opportunity for self- reflection by escaping the distractions of civilization and immersing yourself in the inspiring alpine landscape of the Mount Rogers Area. Grassy windswept balds, punctuated by spiny rock ridges, contrast with the misty, mossy spruce- fir forested summit of Mount Rogers. At 5,729 feet, it is the highest point in Virginia and unspoiled by roads, facilities or people! You and your group will function as a self-reliant community. Instructors will teach you the skills to succeed and allow you to lead your own experience. Nightly debriefs, solo time and evening conversations will encourage you to reflect on who you are, what you’re doing and where you are going in life.
